Introduction of essay

Military Robots Invade Human?

Doraemon, Mighty Atom and Gundam are popular Japanese imaginary robots but these robots are only in animation world. However, it may not be a fantastic story because the existence of robots comes closer to human society. Both industrial robots and non-industrial robots are increasing human society. As statistic shows, about 2.5 million non-industrial robots were used in 2011, and it is 15% more than in 2010 (“Service Robot Statistics”). In addition to this, Japan is called as robot advanced country and Japan occupies the biggest robot market in the world in 2011 (“Industrial Robot Statistics”). Thus, robots are near to human society and they are developing step by step. It seems inevitable to stop development of robots. In fact, development of robot may bring better life to human, while excessive development of robot could be bring some dangers to human, especially military robots are really dangerous for human. Military robots helps the military on battlefield to search and remove bombs, to kill people by remote control and to examine the battlefield (Soat). Japanese ninth constitution is against war and maintenance of war potential (Japan) ; however, military robots must be war potential. Therefore, Japan should consider about potential danger of development of military robots and control from abuse of military robots as a robot advanced country.
